What are state requirements?
Ohio requires teens 15 ½ —18 years of age to receive 24 hours of classroom instruction and 8 hours of behind-the-wheel instruction with a state-certified driving school.
How do I schedule In Car Training? Information will be given in class on how to schedule In Car Training
The mandatory 8-hour behind-the-wheel instruction is provided at the teen's convenience and around the instructor's schedule. In-car training consists of one-on-one training, 2 hours per day for four days. The only time more than one student is in the vehicle is during drop-off and pick-up of students.
Before a student can schedule in-car training, tuition must be paid in full, all classrooms must be completed, and the exit test must be passed. Then, you're ready to schedule appointments on the student account.
Will my teen be picked up at home for In-Car Training?
Students can be picked up at home; however, depending on the location of the appointment, arrangements can be made to be picked up at school or work. OR they may have to meet at the office location. Students must have their valid temporary permit present in order to drive.
What if we need to cancel an In-car?
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance by calling (216) 941-6888, or a $25 fee is assessed.
How far in advance should I schedule In-Car Training?
Slots are filling up fast. We suggest scheduling your In-Car Training as soon as you can.
When will my teen receive his Certificate of Completion?
Certificates of Completion will be uploaded to the student's account 7 - 14 business days after the student completes our Teen Program. For your convenience, do not schedule driving exams until you have received the Certificate uploaded to the student's account.
Do you offer 24-hour classroom classes Online?
We do not offer online classes.
