Cost is $85.00 per month - Lakewood students only

Tuesdays and Thursdays 6:15 to 7:15 pm
Ranger LTAD focuses on our student-athletes needs throughout their development stages. It provides a reference point for sport-specific coaches, administrators, parents,
and sports performance coaches. The model recognizes both participation and performance-
orientated pathways in sport and physical activity. The framework also guides to
improve the quality of sport and physical activity by helping children become physically literate.
Athletes under the Ranger LTAD model will experience developmentally appropriate training and
competition programs for all ages. This model increases their participation in athletics, reduces
the risk of injury, and optimizes performance. Student-athletes will be exposed to an
environment that develops physical literacy, specialization, ability to train, intellectual
emotional and moral growth, an understanding of periodization, an ability to compete, an
alignment and integration into the Lakewood High School system, and continuous improvement
during their time in Ranger LTAD.
Lakewood High School’s Director of Sports Performance, Coach Jimmy Gajewski, uses the
LTAD model in his programming to help ensure these qualities improve during each athlete’s
unique developmental cycle.
